Tenders are hereby invited for the supply and installation of material and equipment for the Shongoane Bulk Water Supply Project which includes the construction of RC reservoirs, steel elevated tank, borehole pumpstations, electrical supply and approximately 30km of PVC pipelines.

Tender documents are available on the payment of a non refundable deposit of R200-00.
Cheques to be made payable to “Bosveld District Council”.
A site inspection will be held on 11 October 2000 at 11:00. Prospective tenderers are to meet the Engineer at the Phalala Bridge on the tar road between Marken and Ellisras.
Tenderers are to arrange their own transport.
Tenders in sealed envelopes mark “CONTRACT BDC2000/41/ET/CMIP - SHONGOANE BULK WATER SUPPLY” must be place in the tender box at Ellisras, TLC not later than 12:00 on the closing date, 20 October 2000.
Tenders will be adjudicated in accordance with the “Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act” (Act 5 of 2000).
In terms of Section 2 (1) (e) of said Act proof of the following must be submitted
with the tender:
(i)
PDI Status (Previously disadvantaged individual)
(ii)
Woman/disabled
(iii)
Locality of business
In addition to the above proof must be submitted that the contractor is registered with the SARS (South African Revenue Services).
Telegraphic, telefax or e-mail tenders will not be accepted.
The Council is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender.
