INVITATION TO TENDER

Tenders are hereby invited for the drilling of community water supply boreholes for the MADZIVHANDILA COLLEGE, TENDER NO: ACDP 00/002, located some 10 kms east of Thohoyandou on the Louis Trichardt-Punda Maria road. 

Tender documents will be available from MONDAY, 8 JANUARY 2001 AT 12:00 at the following offices:

Tenders in sealed envelopes mark “TENDER NO  ACDP00/002 – MADZIVHANDILA COLLEGE” must be deposited into the “TENDER BOX, DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE

AND ENVIRONMENT, GROUND FLOOR FOYER, FINANCE HOUSE, AGRIVILLAGE 1, 69 BICCARD STREET, PIETERSBURG” not later than 11:00am on the closing date, WEDNESDAY, 21 FEBRUARY 2001

Tenders will be adjudicated in accordance with the “Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act” (Act 5 of 2000). In terms of Section 2 (1)(e) of said Act proof of the following must be submitted with the tender: (v) PDI Status (Previously Disadvantaged Individual), (vi) Woman/Disabled, (vii) Locality of Business

In addition to the above, proof must be submitted that the contractor is registered with the SARS (South African Revenue Services).

Telegraphic, telefax or e-mail tenders will NOT be accepted.

The Council is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender.
